Directions to Texas Pointing Labs Kennel
From Fort Worth
Take 287 North from Forth Worth to Rhome. Take the 2nd
exit to the
right (this is 114 West to Bridgeport). Once you get to the stop sign of the
ramp, take a left (West) – you will be on 114 West – toward Bridgeport (though
you will eventually turn before Bridgeport in Boyd).
Go
4.8 miles to FM 730 and turn right (north) just past the “Family Dollar Store”.
Note that the Family Dollar Store is PAST the
“General Dollar Store” in Boyd (i.e., there are 2 “Dollar” stores in Boyd).
Go
3.8 miles to CR 4371(you will see an Anneville cemetery sign) and turn right
(east). The CR signs are out of order, so focus on the mileage.
Go
about 2 miles on 4371then the road takes a “hard right” - just follow the road
to the right. (You will see a long row of mail boxes on the left when the road
takes a right.)
The
first driveway on your left is ours (1022 “Byerly” is on mail box).
Turn
left across cattle guard, past mobile home on right, across creek bridge and up
to our house on hill (yellow house with sky blue trim with wrap-around porch).
From DFW Airport or Dallas
Take the signs to the North exit of the
airport. Then go West on 114. Stay on 114 past Roanoke and then past I-35
(staying on 114) to Rhome. The Race Track will be on your right just after I-35
as you head west toward Rhome. Rhome is about 10-15 minutes from the I-35
overpass. Once you get to Rhome, 114 merges briefly into US-287. Take the 2nd
exit to the right after merging onto US-287 (this is 114 West to
Bridgeport). Once you get to the stop sign of the ramp, take a left (West) –
you will again be back on 114 West – toward Bridgeport (though you will
