Artist Statement: I loved art as a child growing up in Illinois but pursued degrees in Psychology and Business. In 2005, I ended my long career in medical administration to start my own dog training and breeding business. This new career gave me the time and subject matter (my Labradors) that drew me back to my love of art. Since 2005, I have experimented with many mediums: color pencil, pastel, watercolor and oil. I have found oil painting the best fit for me and currently I am studying painting oil with a palette knife. Resume
